Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 October 2026 · Version 1.1
CARAVONA is a technology platform for travel and tourism companies and agencies (each an “Agency”). For each Agency it builds an AI assistant that works on the Agency’s own website, under the Agency’s name and brand, answers travellers’ questions around the clock, prepares complete requests and sends them to the Agency’s WhatsApp, together with a request inbox where the Agency follows up its customers. Travellers deal with the Agency alone; CARAVONA works in the background as the Agency’s technology provider.
These terms govern Agencies’ subscription to and use of CARAVONA. By using or subscribing to the service, the Agency agrees to these terms.
1. The service
CARAVONA provides the Agency with an AI assistant under the Agency’s name and a request inbox. CARAVONA is not a party to any booking or travel contract between the Agency and its travellers, and does not sell travel services through the assistant.
2. Assistant replies
- Replies are general information generated by AI from the Agency’s information, and may be inaccurate or out of date.
- Replies are not a quotation, a confirmation of booking or availability, or a commitment by the Agency or by us; the assistant is designed not to state prices.
- The Agency is responsible for confirming prices, availability, conditions and official requirements with the traveller before any contract or payment.
3. Agency obligations
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about its business and services, and hold and maintain the licences required to operate.
- Remain fully responsible for its services, prices and dealings with travellers, and for the content it provides to us.
- Publish a privacy policy that tells its visitors it uses an AI assistant and technology service providers, and comply with data-protection laws as the controller of its visitors’ data.
- Not use visitors’ data for marketing without their consent.
- Keep sign-in credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Agency data and confidentiality
- An Agency’s visitors and requests belong to that Agency and are technically isolated from all other Agencies.
- We, and the operator of the platform, undertake not to use any Agency’s visitors or requests for any other business and not to contact them.
- We may use aggregated statistics that identify no Agency or person to improve the service.
5. Fees
Fees, plans and trial periods are set out in the offer or agreement made with the Agency. Fees paid are non-refundable unless the agreement or the law provides otherwise.
6. Intellectual property
The platform, its software and the CARAVONA name belong to us. The Agency’s content and brand remain the Agency’s, and it grants us a licence to use them only to operate its service during the subscription.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available” and may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control, without any express or implied warranty that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or reputation.
- We are not liable for decisions made by travellers or the Agency on the basis of assistant replies without verifying them.
- In all cases, our total liability to an Agency will not exceed the amounts it paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot be limited by law.
9. Indemnity
The Agency will indemnify us against any claim or loss arising from its services, information, dealings with travellers, or breach of these terms or of the law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms or non-payment. The Agency may export its data within 30 days of termination, after which it is deleted.
11. Changes
We may amend these terms and will notify Agencies of material changes a reasonable time before they take effect. Continued use after that date means acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
13. Operator and contact
The CARAVONA platform is operated and provided by LTC — Al Lewaa Tours (LEWA TOURS), an Egyptian travel company licensed under licence no. 611, Category A, with its office at 19B Adly Street, Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt. CARAVONA is run as a technology service separate from LTC’s travel business.
